What metals do you recycle?
We recycle all ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including steel, iron, copper, brass, lead, aluminium, and stainless steel. From plumbing fittings and copper cable to boilers, radiators, and stainless sinks — we process it all responsibly.
Do you offer trade metal recycling?
Yes — we work with electricians, plumbers, builders, roofers, garages, and other trades. Whether it’s copper wiring, brass taps, lead flashing, or stainless steel catering equipment, we provide transparent weighing and prompt payment for all trade metal recycling.
How do you price scrap metal?
Our prices are based on live UK market rates, adjusted daily. The type, grade, and condition of the scrap all affect value — for example, clean copper pipe is worth more than mixed or soldered copper. We always provide clear documentation with every transaction.
Do you provide scrap metal collection?
Yes. We offer a scrap metal collection service across Devon for trades, factories, and larger loads. We can also supply skips and containers if required. Smaller amounts can be brought directly to our Torquay yard.
What ID do I need to bring?
Under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013, you’ll need valid photo ID (such as a driving licence or passport) and proof of address. We cannot accept scrap without ID.
How do you pay customers?
We provide prompt payment by secure bank transfer or approved electronic methods. By law, we cannot pay in cash for scrap.
Do you take electrical items?
Yes! Many electrical items contain valuable metals. We recycle items such as wiring, white goods, and some electronics, provided they are safe and compliant. If you’re unsure, contact us before bringing them in.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday – 8am till 5pm
Saturday – 8am to 11am
Sunday – Closed
