Pure metals fetch more. If copper has coatings, solder, insulation, etc., value drops.

Prompt Payment

While certain rates must be confirmed upon evaluation of your metal, our policy is prompt payment. Payments are made by bank transfer or approved method, we don’t use cash payments for scrap.

Public weighbridge services

As part of our commitment to transparency, Glanvile Metals operates a public weighbridge at our Torquay site. This service is available to businesses, tradespeople, and members of the public who need accurate and certified vehicle weights.

Our weighbridge can be used for:
